Nicholas Scott was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois where his interest for the performance arts took shape. After moving to Texas in grade school, he began his personal journey in movement by competing in hip-hop battles, showcasing in freestyle performances, as well as training in multiple disciplines to further his movement.

This led him to attend the University of North Texas (UNT), where Nicholas holds a BA in Integrative Studies with focuses in Performance Communication, Business, and International Studies. There, he eventually led, directed and choreographed for the UNT's Hip-hop dance team Choreoblock. He is currently a Co-Director of the Dallas Hip-Hop based dance team CRL as well as a performer and guest choreographer for Team Athena. 

Nicholas is excited to push his art even further as an artist of Transcend Motion. He aims to evoke the same feeling of freedom in others that he feels when engaging in his art.
