Hadley Voss
Company Artist - 3rd year
Hadley Voss is a Mississippi native and dance artist. She is a choreographer, performer, and educator. Her research is in embodied storytelling, where she explores physical movement to create representational gestures and movement language for her dancemaking.
She holds a BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Southern Mississippi (USM). While at USM, she studied post-modern dance, ballet, dance improvisation, and jazz dance.
In 2024, she obtained her MFA in Dance degree at Texas Woman’s University (TWU). During her time at TWU, she has had the opportunity to study dance styles such as post-modern dance, hip hop, ballet, contact improvisation, Ghanaian dance, and African-diasporic dance.
Hadley has been teaching since 2013, in styles such as ballet, contemporary, and jazz. She was a Graduate Teaching Assistant at TWU, where she taught choreography, technique, and theory classes. She is currently a teacher and choreographer for 3-D Dance Studio in Little Elm, TX.
Hadley’s choreography has been presented in TWU’s Dance UpClose concert (2022), DanceMakers concert (2023), and MFA Culminating Projects concert (2023). While at TWU, she has performed in various choreographic works in the Dance Divison's concerts, the American College Dance Association conference, and the TWU College of Nursing Golden Anniversary Gala.
Through TranScend Motion, she has had the opportunity to perform at festivals throughout Texas, such as at Barnstorm Dance Festival (2023), Brazos Contemporary Dance Festival (2023), and {254}DANCEFEST (2024).
